I was able to get back into town to do a quick update of the Star Wars Con
over the weekend. It was awesome. I can't say much more than that. Ill be
putting up some more pics soon cause my digital cam crapped on me and I
had to resort to a disposable backup one (how lame, i know). Anyways im off
again this week, but no fear, well be back to update asap with pics of the
Official Busy Gamer Site Launch Party that's scheduled for Oct. 27th.

Well a few of the BG crew are getting ready to hit the road for the Star Wars
Expo in Plano Texas. Making sure I pack extra handi snacks in case we get
stranded or something, you know it's hard to tell, those sand people travel in
single file, "to hide their numbers". Will be shooting some pics and stuff as
allowed there, not sure on all the rules and crap, but anyhow.. the Force will
be with us, always.

I didn't even know this movie existed till I was flipping channels and ran
across it on SCI FI. Very humorous when looking at it from an old school
gamer point of view (I'm talking die rolling baby!). And for $9.99 at Target it
may be well worth it and it's all powerful funny "ohh shit they didn't just detect
secret doors did they" kinda way. And the chick who plays the barbarian (Lux)

Against popular belief, although quite shocking I know, us members (me) of
the BG Crew don't have money shooting out of our butts like our pimped out
PURE HTML site depicts. Yesterday I was thinking of hash browns, honey
ham, a stack of flapjacks and a tall frosty beverage to coat my belly from the
IHOP down the road when I realized it'd probably cost me about 12 bucks
with tip. So instead of braving my neighborhood at 3am (which is totally not a
great idea) I ended up throwing upon a plate some things out of my freezer.
Hill Country Fare's finest (hehe) waffles x2 , a Ham and Cheese hot pocket,
and a nice layer of tasty syrup(no crustys on top). And after a 3 minute nuke it
really wasn't all that bad. So give YOUR H.O.P. a try some time. I give it 4
stars. Really. I do.

NCsoft Show Loot!

I reactivated my City of Heroes account a few days back, seems they did a
graphic update since I had been on (which was a year ago). My run in with
the NCsoft devs at Dave & Busters kinda made me miss the fun of being a
superhero and all. It's a great game, not as time constrained as World of
Warcraft I believe, and a totally different feel. And who doesn't like flying up
the side of a building and doing the 'spiderman crouch' overlooking other
hero gamers as they go by... ahhh the little things. Looking forward to the
Sci-Fi Expo next weekend (30 years of Star Wars). It'll be awe inspiring being
in the same room with Dave Prowse & Peter Mayhew. Look em up noob. And
thanks Kym for the Worm Suicide pillow, dam those guys used to rock!

While perusing the random game store ads last night I realized that the
release date for STAR WARS:BATTLEFRONT RENEGADE SQUADRON was
today. And with the first deliveries the game will include a nifty Han Solo in
carbonite case for your PSP. How nifty. Gonna have to track one of those
down unless all the greedy game geeks have sucked them all up in there
sticky little hands. 'Those bitches'.

We are going to be doing a story on girl gamers in the future, not mangina's,
not MMORPG's (men online roleplaying girls), but real gals who like to keep
track of their biggest backstab on World of Warcraft, or will backslap you for
being a noob for 3.5k! Anyhow, i know there are some out there, and we've
found a few! We will be featuring our own BG Crew Queen Elly (pictured
above, not the bald guy, although, well thats another story). So keep yer

During my gaming run last night, a quick little rampage through World of
Warcraft (btw us BGr's here indulge ourselves in the land of
Azeroth)..anyhow, it was around 4am and I received a group invite and right
after I accepted the invite, a spam came across the group chat - 'Want to
level to 60-70 in one day?' GO to www.somethingwowadvantage.com (not
sure the addy), and it said 'Use our stat/level adjuster today!. Hmmm, good
lord, is it possible that someone has hacked the realm defenses and
figured out a way to "insta level" your toon to 70? Dam, that really sucks balls
for those who participate in what we call the 'daily grind'. This would really be
a poor loophole indeed, or a way to make a lot of money fast on people who
have busy lives and cant grind to 70 as fast as others.

<yawn>, it's late, the Halo 3 news stuff are raving, as you can read or have
read. We have some good expo's coming round the bend, and swag in the
BG future too. I would like some beef jerky and maybe a few cheese puffs,
and wash em down with a bubbly dr. b soda. Yeah no one said gamers' ate
really well. Someone told me today I looked too pale, yeah well i dislike the
sunlight, rather preferring the soft hum of the case and the whirling fan
